The closed-off option has the area with the mesh closed off with solid Carbon.
For mounting there is a flange on the bottom of the grille that slots into the bumper and on the top of the grille there is a flange where you can drill holes for hardware or use adhesive. Minor trimming or sanding may be required for perfect fitment to your specific vehicle. Professional installation is recommended.
